Grand Opening of the Bull Fine Arts Library
Bull Fine Arts held a library grand opening for the school's newly-remodeled library on Nov. 9. At the end of the 2011-2012 school year, space became available to expand the library, which used to share a space with the computer lab. The school was due to receive common school funds to replace tattered books and purchase some new titles, so the principal worked with the Buildings and Grounds department to make some much-needed improvements to the space and move the computer lab to another location in the building. The project took five months and finally concluded in October. The new space allows students to use interactive technology, such as a SMART Board and iPads, to learn and explore.
The library grand opening included demonstrations of the new interactive SMARTboard, Mayor Dickert as a guest reader bookmark making and a visit from Booker, the Racine Reads Owl.
