How do I find out what school my child or I should go to?
Visit the District's website homepage at www.racine.k12.wi.us and click on "Transportation." From there, you can click on the boundary links.
How do I register my child for school?
For registration or enrollment information, visit the Enrollment web page or call the Enrollment Center (262) 631-7194.
Can I send my child to another school other than my attendance area school? Is school choice available?
The Elementary School Choice Program allows parents to apply for their child to attend an attendance area school other than their own. Acceptance depends upon space considerations, and the family must provide transportation. Applications for the Elementary School Choice Program are typically available early in the calendar year. Applications forms must be returned to the school of choice by the end of the school choice deadline. If you have questions regarding school choice, please contact Pupil Services at (262) 631-7181.
Where do I find a list and general information on schools?
On the main District page, click on the Our Schools link in the top navigational menu. From here, you may choose elementary, middle or high school and then click on the school that you want more information. Each school’s page includes address, phone number, driving directions and general overview of the school.
Where can I find a school calendar?
On the main District page, click on Calendars in the top navigational menu. From here, you may want to choose to view by year or by month.
What are school hours?
On the main District page, click on Schedules. Then choose the schedules that you want to view from the menu.
Who do I contact about bus transportation or transportation related questions?
You may contact the Transportation Department at (262) 631-7138.
Where can I find out about school cancellations, delays, or early dismissals?
You can check out the District’s homepage, watch local news or sign up for email notifications on the District's homepage.
How can I get a copy of my transcripts?
If you graduated after 1998, you may request them online. On the main District page, click on For Students link in the top navigational menu, then choose appropriate school. You may also call the high school from which you graduated or last attended to request transcripts if you prefer.

When are Board of Education meetings held?
Board of Education meetings are traditionally held on the third Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Administrative Service Center Board Room. Agendas, meetings and other information regarding the meetings can be found on the Board of Education meetings page.
